O2 Centre, 255 Finchley Rd, London NW3 6LU, UK – 0345 308 4620
"VUE" a chain cinema venue. Based in the O2 centre, 5 minutes walk from Finchley Road tube station. 12 screens showing a wide variety of current popular films. They have 2D & 3D options available. Nice wide seats with Dolby surround sound and Sony 4k picture quality. Mini morning event for the children. Clean toilets and air conditioned screens. Ice cream available along with the usual sweets, hot dogs, popcorn & decent coffee. Not cheap in my view so check the website for special offers etc. Well located with many restaurant's available within the complex.
It's really a great movie theater. Food and popcorn are good. Screens are nice. 3D movies are the BEST and there and there are plenty of options for meals after the movie.

Lovely comfy local cinema. Holiday movies only a fiver. Brill.
Cosy cinema. Greet to go there and watch a gold movie. The seats are amazing.

A good cinema if you like sitting on a sofa and eating a meal to watch a movie. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was the size of the side tables. If you plan on having popcorn as well as drinks and a burger with some fries then be prepared to do some maneuvering.
Staff accommodating. Was very hot when we went to see Mama Mia but that was probably the case anywhere you went in that heatwave. Lovely gesture and offer when they said if we found it too uncomfortable, they would defer the tickets to a latter date when it was cooler.
269 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 7JR, UK – 020 7328 1000
The old Tricycle theatre has had a refurbishment and rebranding and is now known as Kiln. What they haven't done - and really this is daft beyond belief - is made it easy to find the place. As far as I could see, there was no sign on the main road at all. And, while its official address might be on the High Road, the actual building and entrance are not. I walked right past the side road twice. I do admire their efforts to bring reasonably priced, interesting plays and films to Kilburn, an area that has been described as 'up-and-coming' for at least three decades as far as I know... so I'm being generous with the four stars. But when I went to see a film recently, I had to queue for ages to buy a ticket as there was only one person at the box office and everything happened very s-l-o-w-l-y. Come on, chaps, get some signs out there.
nice old-school local cinema with independent as well as commercial options. comfortable seats, screen ok, but sound isn't the best.
The Horseshoe, 28 Heath St, London NW3 6TE, UK – 020 7435 3648
A wonderful and charming theatre in the heart of Hampstead. Plays and workshops are held during the week. But on Sunday nights there's an excellent evening called The Moon At Night, with an eclectic mix of artists, poets, musicians and story tellers.
This is a long-running theatre above a pub in Hampstead. There are some steep stairs to access the theatre so no good for wheelchair users or those who struggle to climb stairs. The theatre space itself is quirky and a little dark as you clamber over pieces of set and the odd step to access your seat. However, Leonie will make you feel very welcome, you will be among other theatre enthusiasts and the quality of the production I saw was excellent. It's a bargain way to get your theatre fix.

It's a brilliant location, a warm stand-up comedy kind of setting with low lights and an illuminated stage. Great beers and food served at the tables as you watch the show, pub classics and more (try the tapas!). I watched several LiveWired shows of Improv and they were all amazing. The prices of the tickets are fair, it's an economic way to get a great evening! I highly recommend it.
Absolutely hilarious, ingeniative, and top comic skill on show. Fancy a laugh with mates, a good way to impress a date or just a space to get plastered, eat well and want to let your crazy irrational side of your mind let loose. Attend a show!!!! It's cheap and more than value for a hilarious night out. Plus they do courses to let your inner improv out.
