Cinemas around Cricklewood

Vue

255 Finchley Rd, London NW3 6LU, UK – 0345 308 4620

This cinema has great screens, especially screen 8! The vue at harrow makes my neck hurt so I don't go there now. This one has better positioned seating so it doesn't strain your neck as much The cinema does need refurbishing though. I've never seen a mouse but have read about them and am a bit wary of encountering them mid-movie. It would be great if they could mouse-proof this place. Men's toilet needs a total refit. It is just old and out of date now. Food is too expensive. I never buy anything.

This place is not cheap but its a wonderful experience. Food is good, you can take wine into the cinema, and the theatres are small and intimate. The screens aren't too big but you can't have it all I guess.

Everyman Cinema

5 Holly Bush Vale, London NW3 6TX, UK – 0871 906 9060

One of the best cinemas in London. Order from your seat! Best to book ahead as the cinema fills us quickly

Very nice cinema with very comfortable seating. Felt time travel to the past where you can see some classic old movie posters. If I really want to be picky would be the loo door signs, it took me a short while to understand which door to push for gentlemen loo.

Lexi Cinema

194B Chamberlayne Rd, Kensal Green, London NW10 3JU, UK – 020 3011 5523

Love this little cinema. Atmosphere inside is great and there's a bar so you can have a couple of drinks (or a bottle of wine!) while watching a film. I much prefer this cinema to large, impersonal chains. The staff are lovely and the tickets are very reasonably priced.

My first visit to Lexi blew me away! It is everything the big cinemas are not: friendly, interested and warm. Find time for a drink at the bar before or after the film, you'll get an insight into what makes the volunteers tick.

Theatres for Cricklewood

Odeon Cinema Swiss Cottage

96 Finchley Rd, London NW3 5EL, UK – 0333 014 4501

Really friendly staff are only the first great experience here. Then there iare the interesting foods and drinks. The cinemas themselves are especially comfortable with reclining armchairs, tables for the food and lots of space for your legs. No getting up to let others squeeze to their places at the other end of the row. Picture and sound are also very good indeed. A great night out.

Amazing customer service. We bought 2 vouchers for a movie, half an hour before it started, but when we got there their system for some reason shown that one of the vouchers was already used, which was not. It took them a while to figure the issue out but in the end they let us both watch the movie. They were very understanding and helpful. Also, seats were super comfy :D

Hampstead Theatre

Eton Ave, London NW3 3EU, UK – 020 7722 9301

Great smaller theatre staging creative, thought-provoking, entertaining plays. The Main Stage is both very comfortable and has excellent views from all areas. Before the show, the foyer seating area looks very busy with nowhere to perch, but there's lots of extra seating downstairs. The cafe / bar offers drinks and light food, a very decent house red wine and 10% off post-show drinks with your ticket. And it's very close to Swiss Cottage tube station. What's not to like!

One of the best experiences I had while in London. Not only is the staff amazing, the theater itself is stunning and extremely comfortable. The seats are comfy and there's more than enough leg room no matter where you're sitting. I watched "Dry Powder" and the show was spectacular. The acting was superb and beyond amazing. Really worth a watch
